The at&t Center

The AT&T Center opened in November of 2002 and is the premier entertainment venue in South Texas. The AT&T Center was built by the initiatives of a public-private venture amongst Bexar County, the Coliseum Advisory Board, the San Antonio Livestock Show & Rodeo and Spurs Sports & Entertainment. The facility hosts four anchor tenants: the San Antonio Spurs (NBA), San Antonio Rampage (AHL), San Antonio Stars (WNBA) and the San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo. Additionally, the venue has attracted a multitude of concerts, family shows, special events and entertained in excess of 10 million guests through more than thousands of events. Aerosmith, Justin Bieber, Neil Diamond, Bon Jovi, Cirque du Soleil, The Eagles, Vicente Fernandez, Lady Gaga, Billy Joel & Elton John, Madonna, Metallica, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Rihanna, The Rolling Stones, Shakira, Taylor Swift, Trans-Siberian Orchestra and WWE are just as sampling of the acts that have performed at the AT&T Center.

In 2015, the AT&T Center underwent a $110+ million renovation to enhance the fan experience at all levels of the Bexar County-owned arena. Renovations to the AT&T Center included all new seating arena-wide, along with infrastructure and technology improvements. Technology enhancements to the AT&T Center were prevalent arena-wide with the installation of high definition televisions and LED signage throughout the arena. The addition of LED displays to the NE, SE and SW ticket towers give the exterior a striking new look and provide the ability to showcase game action, event highlights and promotional messaging. The centerpiece of the technology updates is the installation of a brand new center-hung video board that provides a state-of-the-art, high-definition display and has more than four times the viewable area of the previous board. A new audio system and improved Wi-Fi capabilities round out the technology enhancements that help elevate and create a more immersive fan experience. Infrastructure improvements included expanded and updated concourses, enhancements to the arena entrances and updates to all the suites. There is something new for everyone at all levels of the AT&T Center.
