The 1909 Wedding of Natalie & Justin
Nestled in the heart of the Topanga National Park, hidden under the canopy of protected California oak trees, and nourished by the sacred waters of Topanga Creek, lies The 1909. Natalie and Justin chose this serene location to share their union with friends and family. With nature as their backdrop, they chose elements of wood, wild flowers and fruit for their decor. We love this unique idea of mixing different styles of wooden chairs for ceremony seating. It's traditional with a modern flair. Photographer Veronica Puleo of VeroFoto documented Natalie and Justin's wedding to perfection. The couple worked with Event Producer Veronica Medrano to create a beautiful buffet that would match the rustic and easy style of the venue. The menu options included:
- Appetizers Outside On The Deck: Tear Drop Tomatoes, Toasted Crostini Breads, Sliced Foccacia Breads, Sliced Meats, Imported and Domestic Cheeses, and Olives. Tomato Soup Shooter with Mini Grilled Cheese Station. Mini Short Rib and Mash Bites, served in silver tins with mini spoons.
- Salad Station: Baby Greens and Romaine, with Spiced Walnuts, Crisp Apple Wood Smoked Bacon, Sourdough Croutons, Stilton Cheese, drizzled with Lemon Viniagrette.
- Pasta: Pesto Penne Pasta with Grilled Zucchini, Roasted Bell Pepper and Sun Dried Tomato. Bow Tie Sweet Sausage Mostacholi with Fresh Marina.
- Enree: Chicken Piccata.
- Dessert: Summit's Famous Bread Pudding
There is no greater honor that to be chosen to work on a couple's wedding. We take the responsibility very seriously. This beautiful day was no exception. Natalie and Justin we thank you allowing us to be part of such an important day in your lives. The entire Summit Event Catering family wishes you many happy returns.
