The Catalina Room - Grand Opening

The South Bay has a new event space! It's The Catalina Room in Redondo Beach. Everything about this venue speaks to us here at Summit. The location is only a block away from the Redondo Beach Pier, and the beautiful blue waters of the beach. Wait until you see this historical property for yourself! It was built in the 1940s, and has been lovingly restored to it's original beauty. The vaulted ceilings boast wood beams and exposed air ducts. The facade is magnificent from the street with it's recognizable Art Deco design. The possibilities the space holds are endless. With space for 300 it's ideal for corporate events or weddings. The venue also boasts  spaces for private meetings. The sky is really the limit here because of the size of the venue. It's a blank space that can be transformed for any theme or type of event you can imagine.We've been very fortunate to be included in their list of preferred caterers. Besides all of the impressive physical attributes of the venue, it's also a space we can feel proud to be part of. They are a socially responsible venue, which means they back to the community. As a non-profit organization, they serve the South Bay and Greater Los Angeles. One of their most notable contributions is "The Burrito Project", which feeds up to 1200 healthy meals to the hungry every week! That's an amazing accomplishment. As a company who's mission it is to give back, we're proud to partner with this like minded property.A few weeks ago the venue held it's grand opening. The Redondo Beach Chamber of Commerce was there for the official ribbon cutting ceremony. Dignitaries from the city, supporters of the charity, and many friends from the event industry were on hand to celebrate the new space. We enjoyed serving all who came, and we got to meet many of our fellow preferred vendors. We're so excited about the future working with this gem of a property.
