Food Trends - Breakfast for Dinner

It's a Foodie World we live in. The last ten years have seen the explosion of culinary based television shows on network and cable channels that are influencing what America eats. If you live in Southern California it's a good bet you've eaten at Roscoe's and had their world famous chicken and waffles. It's certainly set a trend for the food industry that's all the rage. Our wedding couples are the perfect example of the influence of this trend. Recently six of our couples asked us to prepare "BREAKFAST FOR DINNER" for their menu tastings. We stood up and took notice by preparing several dishes that fit this profile. Our chefs kicked up the creative pairings and even considered the vegetarians who love breakfast. Needless to say the dishes were a huge hit!   • Baltimore Crab Cakes, With Meyer Lemon Aioli
  • Breakfast Wonton Cups,With Bacon, Hash Browns, and Cheddar Cheese
  • Mini Pastry Bites,Filled with Sundried Tomato, Roasted Shallots, and Feta Cheese
  • French Onion Soup Crostini
  • Short Rib Benedict
  • Vegetarian Benedict

This tasting was by far one of the most fun we've hosted and we can't wait to do it again. The only thing we can think of that could be better would be breakfast in bed! We'll start working on that!Bon Appetit!
