Alexandria Ballrooms Wedding - Facing Obstacles
Alexandria Ballrooms is a stunning event venue in Downtown Los Angeles, and we're thrilled to be one of their preferred caterers. For a Saturday wedding, the city is usually quiet and set-ups are a breeze. This wedding was planned months prior and our staff went into the day with ultimate confidence. But this was the day of the Women's March in the city. The streets around the venue were shut off. Our trucks had great difficulty getting in to the area, and our timing was in jeopardy. This is where an outstanding staff makes the difference in events. Under the helm of our Event Producer, Veronica Medrano, the entire staff jumped into action. With our trucks unable to get near the venue, our team walked to our trucks, and carried all items needed to the venue. With minutes to spare the staff and vendors set up for the ceremony and reception. Even with all the challenges we faced, we're bursting with pride at our staff's ability to be calm, focused and bring a smile to our client's faces. After all that's why we do what we do.
