Dogs Exhibit

at California Science Center

Dogs! A Science Tail is a traveling exhibit that explores the bond between man and his best friend. The exhibit has landed at The California Science Center in Los Angeles. The recent grand opening of the exhibit for and special VIPs allowed us to show our creativity in addition to our delicious food.  Our display wholeheartedly embraced the theme of the exhibit. Our staff joined in on the fun by featuring photos of their dogs with a little story about them and their relationship with their lucky owners. Decor included what else but.....tennis balls. Because dogs...tennis ballls.....you're a dog owner and you get it.Both decor and menu were created by our VP of Event Sales, Veronica Medrano. She wanted to appeal to dog lovers and their pups. With a two tiered display, guests could enjoy an upper level of food for themselves, and then choose a "doggie bag" for their best friend in the lower level. The playful way our food was displayed was an absolute show stopper. Everyone knows that both humans and canines love bacon, so we featured or wildly popular "Million Dollar Bacon" and offered bacon strips for guests to take home to their buddy. Are you wondering what's in the shiny dog bowls. Trust us it was human food, and boy was it delicious. This comfort food menu consisted of: Million Dollar Bacon brushed with Pure Maple Brown Sugar and Red Pepper Flakes; Summit's Famous Four Cheese Mac & Cheese with toppings that included Shredded Cheese, Green Onions, Toasted Bread Crumbs, Crushed Cheetos (you hear that right), Sliced Jalapenos, Sriracha, Wasabi Peas, and chopped Pepperoni slices. The Mac & Cheese station was a huge favorite with folks sneaking in line for seconds. Who are we to turn anyone away? We gladly served a little more for those who couldn't resist another bite.We couldn't be more thrilled with the success of this event. Our station was a big hit not only with humans, but with our canine friends who stopped by for a cool sip of water, and a doggie bone. They gave us a happy tail wag and two paws up!
