Coto Valley Country Club

What's one of they key aspects of a wedding, besides love of course? That would be family.  It's all about having your mother helping you choose your wedding gown, your father walking you down the aisle, and having your cherished family members attest to your vows and your love. Family for us is about unconditional love and support. So many of our team has been with us for decades, and that makes them family to us. That's why the wedding of our own Brooke was so special to us. Over the five years Brooke attended college she worked for us as a server, an intern in our office, and finally as an assistant to Veronica Medrano, our VP of Event Sales. Veronica absolutely adores her and felt as if it was her own daughter being married. As Brooke planned her wedding, it was the natural choice to choose Summit as her caterer. Veronica worked with Brooke to make every detail of her day perfect. She not only helped plan her menu, but also assisted with the planning and vendor selections. Brooke embodies beauty, grace, and pure joy. Her personality and smile make everyone around her feel happy. Everyone at Summit is smitten with Brooke and were thrilled that she found the man of her dreams. All the staff members who were lucky enough to be assigned to work on Brooke and Adam's day were so honored to stand beside her on such an important day in her life.Brooke hails from a military family, as her father served our country as a Marine. It's no surprise that it was another Marine that stole her heart. Adam was a striking groom dressed in his Marine uniform. We're indulging in posting more photos than usual, because but the images by Kristina Lee Photography captured Brooke and Adam's spirits so beautifully. You can see the joy and love in each photo as the story unfolds through Kristina's images.Brooke and Adam chose Coto Valley Country Club as the venue for their ceremony and reception. It's a pristine property that has a vintage feel to it. There ceremony was tender and meaningful, but in true form to Brooke, it was also filled with some humor. You've heard that term about the best emotion being joy with tears. Well that would describe their ceremony perfectly. One of our favorite parts of the wedding was the inclusion of their dogs. The pups were just as happy to see the union taking place as the rest of the guests. As the time for choosing the menu came, Brooke and Adam chose their favorite Summit items. The menu Veronica helped them to create included:Appetizers: Thin Sliced Filet, Arugula, Provolone and White Truffle Oil on Toasted Baguette, Coconut Beer Battered Shrimp, Carmelized Onions, and Sliders with Bacon and Jam, Mushrooms & Gruyere Cheese Tartlet; Buffet: Arugula & Bibb Lettuce Salad, Chicken Marsala with Sauteed Wild Mushrooms & Marsala Sauce, Boneless Short Ribs with Black Peppercorn Demi-Glace, Colorful Fresh Garden Vegetables with Lemon Garlic Butter, and Truffle Mac and Cheese. There are so many amazing photos to enjoy, but one of our favorites is when Brooke invited the staff to join them at their sweetheart table. This is a Summit Family photo that we'll always treasure. It's hard to image a happier day for The Summit Family. To be present and help to witness Brooke and Adam's love is a feeling that can't be described. We'll just leave it with the words of Veronica. She called it "The Most Perfect Day Ever". We'd have to agree.Vendor Team: Venue: Coto Valley Country Club | Photographer: Kristina Lee Photography | Videography: Mission Visual | Beauty: Face It Sugar | Floral Decor: Flour and Flower Designs | DJ/Lighting/Bogo: Carcano DJ | Photo Booth: Don't Blink Fotobooth | Officiant: OC Ceremony Pastor | Cigar Bar: The Cigar Guys | Wedding & Groom's Cake: Great Dane Baking Company
