A Look Back at Our Most Memorable Catering Events of 2024…
With the new year on the horizon, we like to look back at some of the highlights of 2024. From romantic weddings to elegant galas to corporate events, we’ve had the privilege of being part of so many unforgettable celebrations throughout Southern California. Find inspiration for your upcoming event and imagine your vision, brought to life by Summit, as we share some of our favorite moments from this past year.
Turning wedding day dreams into reality is always memorable, and this year was no exception. Weddings continue to be more personalized than ever, with menus and creative touches that reflect the couple’s unique style and story. Whether it’s an intimate coastal ceremony in Malibu, or a grand celebration in the heart of downtown Los Angeles, each wedding we’ve been a part of has been filled with moments of pure joy. Desert weddings have their own unique ambience, and we love the romantic starry skies, the breathtaking mountain vistas and destination wedding vibes. The vibrant energy of these desert nuptials made it one of our favorite events of 2024. Summit took care of every essential detail, from arrival hydration stations to craveable appetizers, and served a delicious menu that fueled the festivities late into the night.
Wedding season kept us busy, and this gorgeous wedding at Fete the Venue was an absolute showstopper. The monochromatic decor and place settings added to the elegance of the venue, and we loved personalized details like the puppies peeking out from the wedding cake, the signature cocktails and the jubilant wedding party dance. Heartfelt toasts, the first dances, and the shared laughter are what make these events unforgettable—and we are honored to be part of so many happily ever after moments.
When it comes to garden parties, it’s hard to find a more ideal setting than the California Botanic Garden in Claremont. While guests arrived and wandered about the garden, our team prepared and served a delightful menu featuring vibrant seasonal produce. As afternoon turned to evening, dinner was served. Gala guests danced and mingled and it was magic!
At Summit, we love bringing fresh and exciting culinary experiences to the table. The menu for one of our corporate clients featured global flavors from around the world and showcased our chef’s expertise when it comes to international cuisine. With dishes from ten regions, the menu included several vegan, vegetarian and gluten free options. Employees gathered and enjoyed great food and good company, and this event was a favorite for us!
The New Port Theater in Orange County was the perfect nostalgic venue for a high school reunion. As guests took a strolldown memory lane, they reminisced and enjoyed delicious tacos and sliders. They let the good times roll and it really was a night to remember.
None of this would be possible without our incredible Summit team. From the chefs crafting mouthwatering dishes, to the event producers ensuring every detail is perfect, to our incredible servers who go above and beyond, it’s the dedication of our team that makes every celebration a success.
