The Beautiful LA River Center & Gardens

Being a Southern California caterer, we are lucky to work with many amazing clients. The client is always, first and foremost, the most crucial element of our work, but Summit takes pride in building relationships with venues and vendors who will have the same ethic. We love this wedding venue: Los Angeles River Center & Gardens.

The venue is simply stunning. Here are some reasons our couple chose this venue for their wedding; The expansive and lush lawn was the site for their heartfelt ceremony, with the nearby covered courtyard as their reception area. Every corner of this property is lovingly manicured and maintained expertly. The groom's cultural heritage stood out with Mariachis for the grand entrance and first dance. Our Event producer Pam Aki assisted with an elegant menu that also paid homage to his Hispanic heritage.

The wedding menu included:

Appetizers: Mini Shrimp Ceviche Tostadas; Stuffed Cucumber Barrels with Chipotle Cream Cheese, Roasted Beets & Micro Greens; Crisp Endive Spears filled with Goat Cheese, Figs, Pecans and garnished with Sun-Dried Cranberries

Salad of Arugula and Bibb Lettuce with sliced Anjou Red Pears, Candied Pecans, and Blue Cheese Crumbles

Dinner: Herb-Chared Filet Mignon and Warm Water butter roasted lobster with creamy Boursin Mashed Potatoes and Fresh Asparagus Spears topped with aged manchego cheese drizzled with walnut oil
