Red Horse Barn Wedding of Danielle and Bill
A warm sunny day in July was perfect for the wedding of Danielle and Bill at The Red Horse Barn in Huntington Beach. Situated atop a hill in The Huntington Central Park Equestrian Center, this property offers a spacious outdoor lawn, manicured landscaping, and an abundance of amenities. Summit Event Catering is proud to be a preferred caterer here and to work here often.Danielle and Bill enjoyed an intimate ceremony and reception for their closest family and friends, with the vintage red barn as their backdrop. The groom's sense of humor shinedΒ through during the ceremony when he stopped the proceedings in order to take a selfie! What a fun way to settle those wedding day jitters. Our own Pam Aki was with the couple throughout the planning process to ensure their menu was perfect for their tastes, and their food service was flawless.Upon arriving at this hidden gem, guests were greeted with a gorgeous Imported and Domestic Cheese Display. Cocktail hour appetizers were presented tray passed by smiling servers carrying Roasted Tomato Soup Shooters with Mini Sage and Fontina Grilled Cheese Sandwiches. Once seated wedding guests were delighted with a plated dinner duo of Breast of Chicken with Fire Roasted Red Peppers and Artichoke Cream Sauce, alongside and our popular Boneless Braised Short Rib with Black Peppercorn Demi Glace. The duo was accompanied by Potato Au Gratin and Fresh Whole Green Beans with Red Pepper and Roasted Shallots.Anyone who's ever experienced our dinner service knows that happy feeling of contentment and a full belly. Despite the insistence that they were to full, we served our Almond Custard Bread Pudding with Salted Carmel Sauce and Fresh Almond Whipped Cream. This is our most popular dessert and despite claims of "I couldn't take another bite", the plate is licked clean! The presentation was as delightful as the dish. Instead of a martini glass as we traditionally serve it, we presented it in a ramekan with a silver rimmed saucer atop a lace doily. It was perfect for the setting of this vintage themed venue. Thank you Danielle and Bill for your trust in our service and the quality of our food. We were thrilled to be part of such an important day in your lives. We're so grateful for every one of our clients, but also the fellow vendors that we have the pleasure to work alongside.
