One of the most beautiful beachfront properties for events is Adamson House in Malibu. It's a historic Spanish Colonial home built in 1929, and now a California state park. The home and grounds are lovingly maintained and the ocean front view can't be beat. Wedding planner extraordinaire Deanna Tat of Chic Ambiance Events introduced us to Natalie and Han, and we were honored to be part of their once in a lifetime celebration.The couple married under an ancient Sycamore Tree and then moved to the courtyard of the house for cocktail hour. The touches the property possesses are charming indeed. Event producer Veronica Medrano worked carefully with Deanna and the couple to put together a beautiful menu for their honored guests which included:Appetizers:

  • Coconut Beer Battered Shrimp, with Tangerine Mustard Dipping Sauce
  • Pesto Pizza with Herbed Goat Cheese and Carmelized Onions
  • Ahi Poke on a Fried Wonton
  • Stuffed Mushrooms with mild Andouille Sausage

Salad Course

  • Arugula and Bibb Lettuce with sliced Red Anjou Pears, Pancetta, Feta Cheese Crumbles and Candied Pecans, drizzled with Meyer Lemon Viniagrette

Family Style Entree Course

  • Boneless Short Ribs, with a Black Peppercorn Demi Glaze
  • Soy and Sake Infused Sea Bass
  • Vegetable Paella, with Artichoke, Shitake Mushroom, Japanese Eggplant and Saffron
  • Truffle Mac and Cheese
  • Medley of Grilled Baby Italian Vegetables with Fresh Herbs

Late Night Snack

  • Pulled Pork Sliders and Fries in a Mini Cone
