Have you attended a special event lately? Perhaps it was a networking event, a corporate party, or a wedding. One thing they all have in common is a bar. The bar is usually stocked with wine, beer, and mixed drinks. How do hosts make sure that guests leave their events driving safely after imbibing? Late night food of course! We recommend choosing food that is filling and soaks up any of that lingering alcohol.Summit_Event_Catering_Late_Night_FoodAt Summit we like to display late night food to match the theme of every event. Just because it's the end of the night, we don't take short cuts. These images provided by Studio EMP Photography, from the recent home wedding of Amanda and Darren show the extent of the detail we go to for a late night food bar. Event Producer Veronica Medrano worked with this fun loving couple to design a fun food bar that would please their guests after a day of love, celebration, and dancing. The highlight and favorite of both bride and groom was the BUFFALO CHICKEN MAC & CHEESE. What is that you ask? Think of a marriage of MAC & CHEESE and BUFFALO WINGS. If you're dying to find out how this tastes, you'll have to come in for a tasting! The full late night menu included:Slider Station:

  • Angus Sirloin Slider, stuffed with Blue Cheese and served with Carmelized Onion, Sliced Pears and Chipotle Mayo
  • BBQ Pulled Pork Slider

Mac and Cheese Bar:

  • Summit Mac and Cheese with Gruyere, Asiago and White Cheddar
  • Buffalo Chicken Mac and Cheese, with a three cheese blend and finished with a Panko Crust
  • Truffled Mac and Cheese, with Cheddar and Gruyere Cheeses with Cremini and Shitake Mushrooms
