Biz Bash Live LA

Every year Biz Bash, the leader in event industry education takes their show on the road and comes to Los Angeles. This year's Biz Bash Live LA was held at the California Market Center in Downtown Los Angeles. We enjoy a wonderful relationship with this amazing property and they suggested us for catering to the Biz Bash Team. We catered three separate events for the educational conference and we are still riding high from the experience. The three events were all held this past Wednesday, July 13th. You read that right. Our Summit Staff rocked THREE events in ONE DAY for the same client. We did it with style, flair, amazing cuisine and fun! The first was the "Educational Breakfast" with a station of Bagels, Scones, Fruit Platters and grab and go items which consisted of bananas, yogurt, breakfast bars, granola bars, and a coffee and tea station. It was the perfect way for attendees to fuel up before heading off to their chosen seminarS. Next up was the EFI - Educational lunch that included entrees of Lemon Herb Grilled Chicken, Bow Tie Pasta with Grilled Italian Vegetables, Sun Dried Tomato and Pesto Sauce, Gourmet Baby Greens with Mandarin Oranges, Sundried Cranberries, Carmelized Walnuts, served with a Raspberry Vinaigrette. We also offered a Quinoa Black Bean Salad with Corn, Cilantro, Garlic and Onion. This fresh and vibrant dish seemed to be a favorite!IMG_6255 (800x392)The crowning glory and final event of the day was the Designer's Luncheon. Guests not only learned the latest in design trends, they experienced them as well at an elegant sit down luncheon. Our Event Producer, Veronica Medrano got a chance to show off her inventive design skills and she made us shine. The concept of the menu was the elements. Veronica created customized dishes for the elements of Water, Earth and Fire. She worked hand in hand with Richard Martinez of Luxury DJ to use projection mapping and lighting that changed as each dish was presented to change the mood of each course, and to prepare the palate. The latest buzz in corporate events is branding. We utilized customized plates and cutlery for the salad course, that showed how important attention to detail can be when planning a branded event. We educated everyone on how branding can even be carried on to the table and meal service, thus elevating the branded event to a whole new level. The items were not only beautiful and matched the theme, they are eco-friendly. That's something you and your clients can feel good about. Because let's face it, we're all trying to reduce our carbon footprint.IMG_6266 (800x533)IMG_6271 (800x533) IMG_6272 (533x800)  IMG_6320 (800x399) IMG_6322 (533x800)Our creative menu included the following:
